Windows Vista RC1 To Be Released in September

According to Paul Thurrott from Windows IT Pro, Microsoft plans to release Vista Release Candidate 1 (RC1) around Sept. 7, 2006.  When RC1 is released, those who have Vista Beta 2 installed and activated will be able to download RC1 and install it.  Microsoft also plans to re-open their Customer Preview Program to allow individuals to register and download RC1.  This is great news and will give people a chance to preview the next version of Windows.  Originally the release date for RC1 was supposed to be today.  To see the short article from Windows IT Pro, click here.  The article adds that Microsoft is planning an October 2006 release of Windows Vista.
