Follow-up Review on 2007 Microsoft Office System

I’ve been working with the beta release of the 2007 Microsoft Office System, and I must say it is much easier and faster to work with versus Office 2003.  I love the new ribbon interface.  It did take some getting used to, but once I got used to it, I do find it easier and faster.  If you are not sure what the new “ribbon” interface looks like, click here.  One of my favorite features is to be able to preview layout and font changes on the fly before you add them.  The feature is called “Live Preview.”  My only complaint is with Outlook.  It is a resource hog and it takes forever to drop the messages.  I’m not sure if it is as a result of the program or because of a compatability issue with Norton AV.  Another feature I like is one that should have been there a long time ago and that is save as pdf.
